In the week leading up to Christmas, the residents of Larks Leas Rest Home, one of our gold standard care homes in Dorset, experienced a joyous and bustling atmosphere filled with various activities and celebrations. The week kicked off with a delightful musical performance by singer Debbie Butterworth, who serenaded the residents with a repertoire of beloved holiday tunes. The festive spirit continued to soar a day later as Gill and Alan McIntosh led a heartwarming Christmas Carol service, spreading warmth and joy throughout the rest home.

Adding to the excitement, later in the week the residents embarked on a special outing to see the Sturminster Newton Community Orchestra in concert. The harmonious melodies uplifted the spirits of everyone in attendance, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Celebrations then took a personal turn as the residents gathered to honour one of their own, Jean, on her birthday. The occasion was marked with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt well wishes.
