Visiting Bubble Grand Opening at Castle Farm Retirement Home

Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, celebrated the opening of their fantastic new “Visiting Bubble” last week. Offering a safe and secure solution to welcoming family and friends over the cold winter months this new addition to the home is an excellent example of the ways in which our teams go above and beyond for our residents.

The amazing visiting pod, courtesy of Jim the fantastic maintenance person at Castle Farm, is located in the corner of the conservatory and it allows guests to visit residents without actually entering the main part of the building. Separated by a window and with a microphone and audio system in place, this solution gives residents and their guests the chance to meet face to face while still ensuring everybody is safe and abiding by guidelines.

To mark the occasion Castle Farm held a celebration with Royal Bay Managing Director Mr. Russell Wilson onsite to partake in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. There was plenty of food, drink, music and dancing and the entire home was in high spirits. Staff and residents alike are looking forward to utilising their new Visiting Bubble and welcoming guests who may not have been able to visit otherwise.

We are so proud of the teams in each of our Royal Bay Care Homes and their dedication to providing a level of care that is unrivalled. Faced with very difficult circumstances this year they show great professionalism in dealing with the constantly changing guidelines and are always finding new ways in which to ensure our residents are happy and healthy.
