Love was truly all around this Valentine’s Day across the Royal Bay Care Homes estate. Our fantastic, hard working teams love to celebrate special occasions with their residents and Valentine’s Day was the perfect opportunity to have some fun. Here are some of the Valentine’s Day highlights from our care homes.

Everybody was truly in the Valentine’s Day spirit at Larks Leas Rest Home, our rest home in Blandford, thanks to the hands-on efforts of our residents. Decorative hearts hand-painted bright red alongside heart-shaped balloons aplenty ensured the home was completely decked out in the most romantic of colours. The fun didn’t end there though - residents also enjoyed some valentine’s-themed cake decorating. Afterwards they scoffed their lovely creations while wearing some very snazzy heart-shaped glasses!

The residents at Claremont Lodge Care Home, our residential care home in Chichester, had the chance to display their creative flair by decorating some homemade biscuits. With an array of edible decorations to choose from there were some fabulous, and delicious, creations on show. Following this the residents were then treated to a very special Valentine’s Day dinner and presented with lovely cards & flowers, with everybody having a truly fantastic evening.

Herons Park Nursing Home, our residential nursing home in Kidderminster, held a Valentine’s Day raffle. A mere £1 for a strip of tickets proved to be an absolute bargain price with the quality of prizes on offer. Among them were some Gucci and Clinique products as well as a huge Valentine’s gift pack which included sweet treats and everything you’d need to have a relaxing night of pampering.
