Royal Bay Care Homes

There have been plenty of exciting events taking place across our Royal Bay Care Homes recently, with our residents and staff enjoying a wide variety of activities and day trips.

Claremont Lodge Care Home, our nursing home in West Sussex, embraced what remained of the summer by holding a Summer Fete. It was a fantastic day involving fun, games and musical entertainment alongside a raffle, bake sale and book sale which resulted in an incredible £351.60 being raised towards future events.

The management team at Apsley House Care Home in Bognor made the effort to show how valued their staff are by holding Staff Appreciation Week. Personal gifts, goodie bags, delicious homemade cakes and premium coffee were handed out to members of staff to thank them for the incredible job they all do on a daily basis.

Residents from our nursing home in Wimborne enjoyed a visit to Compton Abbas Airfield in Blandford. Everybody made the most of the good weather and had a couple of refreshments while they were entertained by a variety of airplanes in action, which included an amazing wing walking performance!

Residents and staff at Herons Park Nursing Home, our residential nursing home in Kidderminster, have certainly been busy as of late. There was the visit of some lovely young guests from Hickory Dickory Dock day nursery, during which our residents learned all about their favourite toys. A 190 mile round trip to Weston-super-Mare with our residents and staff enjoying some food and drink before taking a walk down the Grand Pier to take in the spectacular view of the bay. And finally October saw some award-worthy singing performances as Herons Park hosted a karaoke night, with everybody involved having an amazing time.
