Larks Leas Rest Home is a traditional family style detached home located on the north side of Blandford town. The original house was extended twice on either side to provide a total of 14 room places, and then in early 2005 a further 8 rooms were effectively added when the new Garden Suite was completed.

The 22 residents are accommodated in single occupancy rooms, almost all of which have en suite WC and handbasins, with a few rooms even featuring their own shower/baths.

The Home helps clients to lead their individual lifestyles whenever possible by encouraging existing and new interests and providing varied activities for those interested. Friends and family are welcomed and add to residents' quality of life. There are no fixed visiting times but it is sensible and considerate to residents to try and visit between 11am and 4.30pm.
