Each
Royal Bay care home has either been sympathetically adapted to elderly
care needs, or has been purpose-built for them. All are truly homes,
not institutions, and most have beautiful surroundings such as wonderfully
designed and maintained gardens to provide the highest standards
of amenity and relaxation.
Care Standards - Our Priority
At Royal Bay, we understand that the only way to deliver the care
services which people need is through exceeding expectations in
all areas. Mere compliance with regulations and standards is not
enough. Of course, all Royal Bay care homes strive to achieve the highest
acclaim from the Care Standards regulators, and this is borne out
in the published reports which are available for inspection in each
home, or via the internet. However, the true atmosphere of a care home
can only be felt, not measured - and we encourage prospective clients
to visit at any time - even if they are not yet ready to take the
step of changing to care home life.
Royal Bay Carers
When you walk across the threshold of one of our care homes, you immediately
feel the warmth and security which is the result of the work of
our managers, carers and domestic staff. This
is a truly vocational environment where the carers who succeed are
the ones who see beyond the frailty of older age and the limitations
it brings, into the whole person and their rich experience of life.
All Royal Bay Care Staff have training appropriate to their duties
and responsibilities. Many are undergoing continued vocational qualification
training to help them progress in their delivery of professional
and friendly care. Care Home Managers all hold the NVQ in Care the highest
level, or the Registered Manager's Award.
